Description

This 150mm Kurosaki Petty is a special limited-edition model from Kurosaki knives. The Shizuku series is already pretty stunning, but this special edition is all the more impressive with a custom made octagonal urushi or lacquerware handle. This is an absolute artwork and extraordinary to work with.

The blade is made out of SG2/R2 high performance powder steel and clad in stainless steel. Like all knives in the Shizuku series this knife is finished with a unique Tsuchimi or hammered finish, which also has the practical benefit of helping with food release.

The craftsmanship on this Kurosaki Petty is incredible. From the Urushi handle to the Shizuku series SG2/R2 blade the fit and finish is perfect. The spine and heel are nicely ground off to provide that extra level of ergonomic comfort.

Kagerou edition Shizuku blades come with a custom all black box with fitted red inlay and are shipped with a plastic, bubble wrapped, protective sleeve. The knife is razor sharp straight out of the box. This is an absolutely beautiful knife and the hand forged SG2 steel will hold an edge for a very long time.

We have many more Kurosaki knives and other Japanese Kitchen Knives.
